Every Lemonicious flavor starts with fresh squeezed lemon juice as its base, but Lemon Blossom is the one flavor where lemon is the whole story rather than a supporting ingredient. The floral note is meant to echo the citrus blossom itself, the delicate white flower that lemon trees produce before the fruit ever forms.
Why Floral, Why Now
Floral flavors have shown up across the beverage world in recent years, usually through synthetic flavor compounds designed to mimic a scent rather than build on a real ingredient. We wanted Lemon Blossom to feel closer to steeping actual blossoms than to spraying a fragrance into a drink, which meant building the flavor slowly and testing it against fresh squeezed lemon rather than against a flavor lab sample.
Tasting Notes
Lemon Blossom is lighter and less sweet than our other flavors, with a fragrant, slightly perfumed quality up front that settles into a clean, classic lemonade finish. It is the flavor we point people toward when they want something refreshing rather than dessert like.
